Kelson is serving as the mechanical contractor for the new Queensville Catholic Public School, a state-of-the-art 47,000 sq ft facility in East Gwillimbury. This modern school will accommodate 423 students and provide 49 essential child care spaces. The building features four full-day Kindergarten classrooms, 14 additional classrooms, a dedicated special education room, a music room, a double gymnasium, and a spacious, welcoming library.
Mechanical Systems
The mechanical systems will include high-efficiency hydronic heating, energy recovery ventilators, and zoned air-handling units with integrated humidification. Domestic hot water will be supplied via high-efficiency boilers. HVAC controls manage temperature, ventilation, and air quality, while fire protection systems are fully integrated. All systems are designed for accessibility, maintainability, energy efficiency, and compliance with the Ontario Building Code and sustainability standards.
