Kelson was the prime contractor for a renovation project at Great West Life (GWL) office building at 33 Yong Street in Toronto. This project involved the removal of the existing heat exchanger and the installation of a new heat exchanger. Kelson replaced one free cooling heater exchanger. The new heat exchanger has a larger capacity than the one that is being replaced. The idea of the replacement is to provide a longer free-cooling season. This resulted in more energy savings to the owner.
