Quinte Detention Centre - Roof Top Unit and Air Handling Unit Renewal

The Quinte Detention Center project included the renewal of roof with modified bituminous roof membrane and the replacement of five existing interior built AHU units and 2 roof mounted package units. The interior units were replaced with custom packaged units and required new piping, ducting and electrical modifications to fit the new units. One new unit was converted from DX cooling with a connection to the existing chilled water plant. The existing associated DX condenser on the roof was removed. The existing glycol system for the abandoned solar panels on the roof was removed to allow for the roof replacement.
