Completion: October 31, 2007
Location: Toronto
December 2007 Kelson undertook Mechanical works at The Warren Stevens and Earth Sciences building for the University of Toronto. Involved was the concurrent replacement of centrifugal chillers in the Warren Stevens and Earth Sciences building as well as cooling tower overhauls for both buildings open loop condenser system. Installed were owner purchased multi-stack modular chillers for Warren Stevens and a York Centrifugal for Earth Sciences. Scheduling was a priority to enable the systems to be brought back online prior before the cooling season. Geo. A. Kelson. Co. Ltd acted as the General contractor on this project, managing all civil and architectural finishing required for re-instating the mechanical room space. We also worked with base building controls contractor JCI to incorporate the new equipment into the BAS.
