Carleton University β Steacie Building Renewal Program Phase 1

Location: Ottawa
The majority of the work involves the demolition and reconstruction of laboratory. Includes the installation of Glass borosilicate piping for all lab waste drainage. The installation of high purity lab gases network distributed to multiple outlets including low and high pressure compressed air, natural gas, nitrogen and argon. All system registered under TSSA. Ductwork is decorative grade. The project also included miscellaneous HVAC upgrades in multiple areas of the building and a new office area fitup on Level 2. Tie-ins to the existing building performed during system shutdown. Lab consists of multiple fume hoods, sinks and work areas.
