Kelson was the mechanical contractor for the Union Station Kitchen Exhaust Fans (KEF) replacement project (90% was mechanical). This project was a change out of existing rans for new more powerful ones. There were a total of seven fans replaced for this project. This renovation occurred in a high traffic occupied facility at Union Station in Toronto.

Kelson installed scaffold frames to remove old fans and install new
Utilization of a crane to lift mechanical materials from train tracks to the train shed roof.
Extensive work plans had to be created and submitted, as well as additional safety training for all workers to be able to work within a live train yard
