Kelson is the prime contractor for the heating system replacement at Ossington Junior Public School. This involves decommissioning the existing steam system and installing an entirely new heating system. This entails demolishing the existing cast iron boilers, AHUs, wall radiators, convectors and hot water tank. We will then install a new system that uses gas fired boilers to heat water and glycol systems. The new equipment associated with this conversion are the boilers, AHUs, pumps, heat exchangers, wall radiators, convectors and split system air conditioning units. This will also involve installing an entirely new piping system in the building to serve the new equipment. We will also be demolishing and installing new ductwork for all the connections to the units in the mechanical rooms.
