IBM Office Reno-100 Gough Cooling Tower Replacement - (Prime)
Completion: September 28, 2017
Location: Toronto
Kelson was the prime contractor for the cooling tower replacement at IBM office building. This involved the demolishing of the existing cooling towers and replacement with new cooling towers for IBM data center. In order to keep the chilled water system up and running during the replacement, Kelson installed 4 temporary 200T chillers to provide cooling during the shutdown period. Four new cooling towers (each 200 Ton) were installed with upgraded control valves, condensing water pumps, and piping to existing hot/cold wells which were also refurbished. Update to the base building automation system (BAS).
