City of Toronto - New Data Centre and Office Modernization

Kelson was the mechanical contractor for the City of Toronto Data Centre and office modernization project at 60 Tiffield Road, Toronto. This project consisted of the complete remodel of interior of two buildings with phased construction process. Kelson was responsible for the demolition of 6 existing Roof Top Units (RTU).
Mechanical Systems
Kelson mechanical highlights: The mechanical system upgrades consisted of: 7 Gas Fired Roof Top Units (RTU) with downstream VAV’s and FPB’s with electric reheat. Along with, 7 Computer Room AC units and 18 In-row cooling units for data centre with 25 rooftop condensers installed. Kelson integrated a new Building Automation System (BAS) from old units to the new units.
