Kelson was the mechanical contractor for a new hospital in Bracebridge. This new facility was tied into the old wing of the hospital. A new emergency department, and a new critical care unit were part of this large expansion making the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital an 80 bed facility. The new expansion was named the Frank Miller wing. Services that are available in the new wing include: complex continuing care, diagnostic imaging, fracture clinic, intensive care unit, laboratory, palliative care, pharmacy and rehabilitation services.
Mechanical Systems
Kelson was responsible for the entire mechanical scope of this project. This includes the installation of a new boiler room and new Air Handling Units.
