Renovation of mechanical systems in 4 story office building. Job contains 7 rooftop units, 3 boilers, 1 cooling tower, 10 pumps, remove and replace 166 VAV’s and 89 control valves in the perimeter heating loop. Upgrade of all electrical services feeding new equipment.

Kelson mechanical highlights:

HVAC Equipment Removal: Kelson was responsible for removing seven rooftop air handling units, three boilers and a cooling tower. Additionally, Kelson was responsible for the removal of smaller pieces of equipment, including ten pumps, 166 variable air volume (VAV) boxes, and 89 controls valves.

HVAC Equipment Supply: Kelson managed the procurement process, tendering the equipment, negotiating purchase agreements and managing the shop drawing process.

HVAC Installation: Kelson was responsible for coordinating and installing all pieces of equipment, and associated piping. Rooftop units, boilers, and cooling tower installation required multiple crane lifts.
