Kelson was the mechanical contractor for the University of Toronto Mississauga – William Davis Building – Air Handling Unit renovation project. This project included the removal and replacement of two Air Handling Units that served the newly renovated cafeteria / meeting area spaces. All renovation to the men’s and women’s washroom groups. This was an occupied facility and required working in existing building with very tight timelines. Building is used for academic pursuits, therefore noise restrictions in place.
Mechanical Systems
Kelson Mechanical Highlights: Kelson provided new air supply and return and all plumbing, water and gas hook-ups for new kitchen area. Installation of Pneumatic control system involves high level of specialization to handle. Installation of AHU was difficult due to tight space access to the penthouse.
