Loyalist College is a post-secondary institute located in Belleville. Kelson is the prime contractor for this Boiler and Chiller replacement project at Loyalist.
Mechanical Systems
The scope of work entails upgrades to the main heating and cooling systems to a new and higher efficiency system. This features safe and economic removal of the current heating and cooling plant system of existing boilers, chillers, and pumps. This will be replaced by the supply and install of four new boilers, which will serve as the main heating boilers to air and domestic systems and one new chiller and condensing units to serve as cooling to large occupied spaces within the building. All electrical components including the supply and install of a new transformer to serve all the equipment will be installed also allowing future work to occur as required. This is an occupied facility.
