Kelson was the mechanical contractor for the York Region Government Office Renovation - 145 Harry Walker Parkway North, Newmarket project. This projected involved r
enovations to an existing industrial building into an office space. This included: architectural, interior, mechanical, electrical, structural and civil, and landscaping works for the Town of Newmarket.
Mechanical Systems
Kelson mechanical highlights: Kelson renovated two mechanical rooms, this consisted of 3 new Boilers, and 2 new washroom groups. New equipment installed was: HVAC pumps, water treatment skids, air handling units, force flow heaters, gas-fired boilers, AC units and VAV Terminal Units. Kelson worked with the consultant and client to overcome challenges created by unforeseen existing conditions, by implementing cost-effective construction solutions. This project achieved Bronze level LEED certification.
