Royal Victoria Hospital - Chiller Final Phase (Prime)

Location: Barrie
New dedicated chiller for 4 existing Air Handlers serving OR/MDRD. Scope of work includes additional piping loop with new 3-way valves at these air handlers in order to offer the hospital the option to use the new air cooled chiller installed as part of this scope of work or to use existing cooling system offering them full redundancy for the critical areas served.
As prime contractor Kelson is responsible for the mechanical installation as well as electrical and structural requirements for the new equipment.

Coordinate and execute modification of existing roof to accept structural steel structure for new chiller, all hoisting and rigging performed by Kelson
Exterior and interior CHW piping through challenging existing mechanical rooms with difficult routing and congestion
Short timeline for project execution requiring detailed planning and coordination
