Kelson is the mechanical contractor for the new Schlegel Village Long Term Care Home in Stouffville, Ontario. The 192-bed, 143,552 square feet, 6 storey building is the latest expansion of Schlegel Villages’ mission to bring its social model of living to more communities across the province. All rooms will be single occupancy for Long Term Care requirements. This project is aiming for Green Globe certification.

Mechanical Systems

Kelson will install 7 Roof Top Units (RTU), 4 Energy Recovery Ventilators, 1 Make-Up Air Unit, and 2 Adiabatic Fluid Coolers. The mechanical penthouse will have 2 gas fired boiler for hot water heating, and 2 gas fired water heaters for Domestic Hot Water (DHW).  Kelson will all install a Glycol heating system for snow melting, water softener system and 4 humidifiers.
