McMaster Arthur Bourns Building Engineering Innovation Tower TP3 (Addition)

A new 6 storey lab/research tower will be constructed adjacent to an existing building facility and tie-in at each floor level. New labs will be provided throughout, with tie-in to existing mechanical services.

Kelson mechanical highlights:
Tie-in to existing building systems in maintenance tunnel to provide new services – i.e. compressed air, nitrogen, steam, etc. Provision of interferences drawings through congested spaces, which incorporate new building structure and coordination of new services to be installed. Coordination and development of integrated 3D Model to ensure mechanical services could be installed as shown. LEED standard to be maintained during building renovation
