Scarborough Town Centre - Oxford Renovation - Sears

Converting Sears box store into multiple retail units, for future use by mall tenants. This project includes the addition of 35 Roof Top Units (RTU’s) with complete gas piping. As well as a 660-foot-long, dedicated gas line to the generator serving tenants in Sears box. The project was sheet metal heavy with the supply and return mains brought to every floor for the future tenant’s connections by their own fit-out contractors. Two tenants (IKEA and Decathlon) have successfully moved into the building and are currently using the systems. This contract also included providing Building Automation Systeme (BAS) to the tenants as well as connecting to the existing utilities consumption monitoring CARMA for the building owner.
Mechanical Systems
Mechanical systems included: 35 new rooftop units, underground drainage, supply & return ductwork to each retail unit, AC units for electrical rooms, terminal heating for perimeter stairs & vestibules.
