Kelson was the prime contractor for Canadian Forces Base Kingston MA36 Glycol Flush. This involved removing and disposing burnt glycol from hydronic system, cleaning the system, replacing the burnt glycol.

Mechanical Systems

Kelson was also responsible for replacing the two existing hydronic pumps and control valves. With the site being a federal military base, and the project needing large amounts of “non-safe chemicals” being removed – lots of oversite from their environmental protections department had to be adhered to. When the disposal subcontractor was removing the waste glycol from site, we had to have multiple supervisors and sign an environmental manifest. This project required reliability security clearance.
