De La Salle Innovation Preparatory College (Gr.5-12) - Roof Top Units (RTU) and HVAC Renovations

De La Salle is an independent, co-educational, Catholic school in Toronto, Ontario. It offers a rigorous liberal arts education from grades 5 through 12, and has a distinguished history as a college-preparatory institution. Kelson was the mechanical contractor for the renovations at De La Salle. The Science and Innovation Centre is home to a host of state-of-the-art classrooms and learning environments. They include three new biochemistry labs, along with a physics lab. There is also be a large lecture hall and a greenhouse located in the Centre of this institution.
Mechanical Systems
Kelson mechanical highlights:Â Kelson provided 3 Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) units connected to fume hoods / lab exhaust fans for biochemistry labs. Kelson installed Roof Top Units (RTU) and Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) with humidifier on roof. Kelson also installed a new boiler plant complete with 2 boilers, 2 pumps, Gas Domestic Hot Water Heater.
