With Ontario’s recent expansion of breast screening eligibility, individuals as young as 40 can now self-refer for these critical exams through the Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP). This change aims to improve early detection, provide more people with access to timely treatment, and ultimately save lives. To support this, a second MRI machine will be installed at the KHSC MRI facility at 820 John Marks Avenue. The facility’s expansion will accommodate the installation of this new machine.
