Kelson was the mechanical contractor for the Newburgh public school boiler replacement project. The project included demolition of existing chimney, piping, pumps, 2 hydronic boilers, and 1 domestic hot water boiler, expansion tanks, and miscellaneous redundant piping within the mechanical room. The domestic hot water boiler is to be turned over to the Board. New work included 3 new hydronic boilers, a new gas fired domestic hot water tank, electrical work, roof flash cap removal and replacement, venting, structural modifications to support the existing decking and new housekeeping pads. This was an occupied facility.
