Kelson was responsible for the various mechanical upgrades to the space to allow for a new CT scanner to be installed for the hospital. This included replacement of plumbing fixtures and air handling unit components, the installation of new HVAC equipment to accommodate the new occupancy requirements of the space including new hydronic VAV boxes and a VRV cooling system. Kelson had to install the new mechanical equipment in an operational hospital and had to coordinate closely with all stake holders to ensure IPAC requirements and the downtime for necessary operating equipment was kept to a minimum.
