Millhaven Institute – Domestic Hot Water (DHW) Retrofit (Prime)

Kelson is the prime contractor for the Millhaven Institute Domestic Hot Water (DHW) retrofit project. This consists of
the demolition and removal of existing DHW tanks and associated piping. Installation of two (2) Lochinvar Boilers (supplied by Ameresco Canada Inc.). Supply and installation of new gas connection from existing gas meter to Penthouse of MHN. Piping and Installation of seven (7) stainless steel indirect DHW Heater Tanks (T1 – T7) supplied by Ameresco Canada and all associated electrical work.
Mechanical Systems
The domestic hot water supply to the prison will have to be maintained while the retrofit is being completed. This is an occupied facility with security clearance requirements.
