Kelson is the Prime contractor for the chiller replacement project at Sir Wilfred Laurier Collegiate school. The Sir Wilfred Laurier Collegiate project consists of the replacement of an existing chiller, chilled water pump, and condenser water pump located in the Level 1 A.C. Mechanical Room. There will also be the refurbishment of the existing cooling tower located on the roof directly above the A.C. Mechanical Room. This system provides cooling capabilities for the existing AHU-05, AHU-13, and AHU-01. The existing wood louvre equipment screen and decking around the cooling tower on the roof is also being replaced. The school will be occupied during the renovation. The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) procedures for working in an active school are to be followed.

Mechanical Systems

Kelson mechanical highlights: Kelson will be supplying the new chiller, chilled water pump, and condenser water pump as well as removing the existing chiller, chilled water pump, and condenser water pump. The equipment will be connected to the existing Building Automation system. Kelson is the prime contractor on this renovation project.
