The Barrie downtown Library was originally built in 1996 and is a three level 40,000 sq.ft. facility. The existing HVAC and controls systems are at the end of their rated service life. The City of Barrie is upgrading these systems with new energy efficient systems and improved controls including the revitalization of the existing roofing system.

Kelson mechanical highlights: The scope of work involved with this project includes the following:
Replacement and modification of existing Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems
Replacement of existing HVAC control systems and related sub-components
Revitalization of existing roofing system including localized repairs and application of new Cold Applied Roofing Membrane.
