Renovation of the chemotherapy unit at North York General Hospital. Renovation for new lab for compounding chemotherapy drugs. Relocation of existing services and replacement of fixtures and equipment on Level 8. Addition of air handling equipment and associated ductwork. Â Â
Mechanical Systems
Kelson mechanical highlights: Installation of new ductwork and exhaust system for Chemotherapy lab. Supply and installation of 6 Phoenix Air Valves for tight control of pressurization of new lab area. Renovation of existing HVAC systems for new chemotherapy treatment area. Plumbing risers’ relocation including after-hours work on active rooms of hospital outside main construction area, medical gas (with TSSA), IPAC training required for all workers.
