Mechanical Systems

The mechanical systems include a dedicated pool dehumidification unit, along with four additional air handling units equipped with glycol heating, gas-fired humidifiers, and cooling provided by a roof-mounted air-cooled chiller. A boiler room located on Level 2 houses three hot water boilers serving the building’s heating system, as well as two gas-fired domestic hot water heaters. The facility also includes one natural gas–fired emergency generator, supplied by others, with venting and natural gas connections provided by Kelson. In addition, two rooftop units (RTUs) serve the library and play space areas respectively, incorporating glycol heating, natural gas-fired humidifiers, and DX cooling.
